Snaptober Day 4's prompt is Trope
It took me a minute to figure out what I wanted to do with this one. Then I thought about Twilight, and honestly, how could I not?!
Between the love triangle, supernatural romance, and all the drama, Twilight fits so many romance tropes. So, for this shoot, we're imagining an alternate universe where Bella picks Jacob instead of Edward. Team Jacob fans, this one's for you!
These photos were part of an engagement session for a couple who are huge Twilight fans. The bride loves Twilight so much that they even based parts of their wedding around it! When she brought one of the books along to incorporate into their engagement photos, I knew we had to include it.
And with the groom's long hair giving major Jacob vibes, this concept was just too perfect!
A Twilight-Inspired Engagement Photoshoot
The goal wasn't to recreate the characters' exact costumes. Instead, we wanted to capture the romantic atmosphere of Twilight and imagine what it might look like if Bella and Jacob were the ones getting their happily ever after.
The couple chose The Meadow in Mesa, Arizona, for their engagement photos, and it was the setting for this romantic, cinematic take on one of the most recognizable love triangles in pop culture.
I love when couples bring their own interests and personalities into their engagement sessions. Your engagement photos don't have to be just a collection of traditional poses. They can tell a story about who you are as a couple, the things you love, and even the fictional worlds you wish you could step into!
Whether you're a lifelong Twilight fan, obsessed with a particular movie, or dreaming of an engagement session inspired by your favorite book, there are so many ways to make your photos feel personal to you.
